Joe has been around Northeast Ga sports since 1974. He was trainer/manager for baseball and basketball teams at North Hall from ‘74-‘78. After attending several athletic trainers camps/clinics, Joe worked as the trainer for basketball teams at Gainesville Jr. College, Truett McConnell University and Ga. College and State University. 

Joe was a member of the Gainesville American Legion Post 7 baseball team in 1978 and 1979. Post 7 was the first Ga. Legion team to advance to the Legion World Series. The 1980 TMU Womens Basketball team won the NJCAA National Championship with a 36-2 record.

Joe retired from a 42 year career in Parks and Recreation last August and has been working with Glory 97.5 and Mike for several years as the play by play voice for sports. Joe has a daughter that will be attending college this fall.
