The Gol’Diggers have started out the 2025 campaign on fire!!! Sweeping the Brookhaven Bucks in a double header season opener the team displayed great power and great pitching. Bryce England brought home a pair with a towering blast to left field and the team was led on the mound in game one by James Fordham who went 4 innings with 7 strikeouts. The team then traveled to Atlanta to face off with the Astros and outlasted them in a late night 13 inning affair. Hunter Stonecipher came off the bench late and supplied the game winning base hit which brought home a pair of runs. Market Drye also shined bright as the right hander was phenomenal out of the bullpen carrying the weight of the later innings. The Gol’Diggers have shown that they are picking up right where they left off from last season as they go for another SBL Crown.
